CHURCH OF LAZARUS & THE DOGS

THE   ELEVEN   PRECEPTS

1.
Man is irredeemably evil. The creation of children is therefore an act of evil.

2.   The world has become the Planet of Pain. Almost all that pain is created by humans in their pursuit of luxury and pleasure.

3.   The holy life has no reward beyond the grave: its integrity is its own reward.

4.   If there is a single "God", he/she/it is utterly evil.

5.   The only god is nature from which we have separated ourselves and which we are annihilating through greed, hedonism, and our pathological inability to see the wood for the trees.

6.   All animals are prophets.

7.   Monotheisms are blasphemies against love and nature.

9.   Suicide is the only worship.

10.   We are the only irrational beings, and we are living at the end of time, which we have invented and are destroying.

11.   The only good human is a dead human.

THEMEATRIX

Being a Cathar church, the church of Lazarus and the Dogs
has no building to corrupt it.

Being a Zen church, it has no organisation to corrupt it.

Being a Sufi church, it has no wealth to corrupt it.

Its trinity of 'saints' comprises

Diogenes of Sinope; Abu Yi'zza of Southern Morocco
and Santoka of Japan.
